Kid Nebraska formed in the fall of 2017. Even though Josh Kidney was already busy playing guitar for Dylan Bloom, he wanted an outlet for the songs he’d been writing over the years. On a whim, he messaged Travis Muzney, a drummer who’d filled in for Dylan on several occasions. Travis jumped at the chance to start a band and brought along Jon Packard on bass. All that was left to round out the sound was a second guitarist. That’s when Josh called his longtime friend and guitar mentor Todd Laird. Once the four-piece was established, the band started practicing and booking. Their first single “Go” was produced and recorded by Matty Sanders at Fuse Studios and will be released on August 14. In October, the band will return to the studio to finish up their debut EP which will be released late 2018 to early 2019.
